Design+Peace is a community where professionals, communities, and volunteers from various disciplines collaborate to address urgent contemporary issues with innovative, sustainable ideas. We develop educational and research methods, spatial strategies, and production and application forms to create lasting systems. Believing in the power of creativity and collective work to drive social change, we focus on providing design-based solutions to environmental, educational, economic, and social challenges, especially for disaster-affected communities.

Our goal is to offer innovative solutions to disadvantaged areas, create equal opportunities, and achieve lasting impacts through social entrepreneurship and collective effort. We emphasize interdisciplinary work and knowledge sharing across fields from architecture to productive projects, believing these solutions can transform society. We aim to establish robust systems through collective, multidisciplinary projects and create livable post-disaster areas without external support.
By empowering minority and disadvantaged groups, especially women, children, and individuals with disabilities, we envision a stronger and more sustainable world where all members of society can act together.

Design+Peace focuses on societal and environmental problems requiring innovative solutions and work collectively with partners and participants to design and implement effective strategies. We believe that addressing contemporary issues such as environment, education, disasters, inequality, food security, migration, and social and economic challenges requires diverse approaches and collaborative design efforts. We bring together different groups, facilitate dialogue between communities and experts, and lead innovative practices.
To tackle various problems, we need both innovative approaches and the expertise of professionals. We recognize that solutions must be tailored to the cultural, educational, and socioeconomic variables of each region, ensuring local adoption and management. Collaborating with local organizations, communities, and producers is fundamental to our projects. We strengthen local networks and leverage their knowledge, culture, and experiences.
Our mission includes developing sustainable projects based on feedback from our field partners and offering collective solutions with our community and sponsors. We aim for our projects to eventually be managed and controlled locally, ensuring long-term sustainability.
Recognizing the transformative power of art, we work with various art groups on a voluntary basis. We support art communities in high schools and universities, encouraging them to participate in our network and bring hope to the communities we reach. We also support their development by promoting social message-oriented performances aligned with our vision.
